Our team
A workshop run by the ESAT of the Progecat Association
The ESAT’s mission is to support the professional and social development of workers in a working environment. At Vignobles du Paradis, 10 disabled people with hearing, motor and mental impairments reveal their talents and develop their potential. What makes Vignobles du Paradis so special is the balance it offers.
It is both :
- an educational tool where workers train and develop their skills throughout their career,
- a tool for integration into the outside world
- a winegrowing business fully integrated into its local area and economic sector
- a micro-society where people work together, inspire each other and meet others, whatever their differences and skills.
The vineyard team
10 adults with disabilities work every day at Les Vignobles. They are trained in the various activities of the workshop, according to their aptitudes, desires and/or previous experience.
They are supported by 2 supervisors and a cellar manager, all of whom are winegrowing professionals trained in working with people with disabilities. The ESAT’s professionals seek to promote the well-being of their employees by making the most of their actions, while maintaining a balance between the productive workload and the individual’s work rhythm.
They stimulate and help workers to integrate socially and professionally, and seek to help them develop both personally and professionally. They also encourage versatility and, consequently, the employability of workers.
In the shop, by email or by telephone, our 2 administrative and sales managers will welcome you, help you taste our wines and answer any questions you may have.
Their shared passion and the joy of working together every day, whatever their differences, help to give the wines offered by Les Vignobles their character.
Helping people with disabilities in Nord Vienne
For nearly 40 years, the PROGECAT association has been supporting adults with disabilities in the Nord Vienne area. It promotes their integration into social and professional life and enables them to develop their independence, while respecting their rights, dignity and autonomy.
The Progecat association comprises 7 establishments in Loudun and Monts-sur-Guesne, in the Nord Vienne region. Together, they offer a lifelong support programme tailored to the specific needs and desires of each individual.
Whether providing accommodation, vocational integration or daytime activities, with or without medical care, each facility is part of a larger whole that offers a range of solutions to adults with disabilities in the region and their families.
